In order to obtain the best pricing from Dell, beginning November 1, 2018 all campus departmental purchases of Dell products will be done using the catalog enabled in UW-Madison's eCommerce marketplace, Shop@UW. A single, streamlined ordering process ensures the lowest contract pricing and the most up to date product offerings are available to departments who are purchasing computer hardware for institutional use.
Shop@UW's dedicated customer service team will be able to assist with a variety of issues including package tracking, order status questions, and returns. The DoIT Tech Store will continue to consult with, offer recommendations to, and showcase Dell products for departmental purchasers, but will no longer stock Dell hardware for departmental purchase.
