Product Description

UW Madison has a site license for DBMS/Copy, Version 8 from DataFlux Corporation, a SAS Compamy,, purchased through the cooperative efforts of several campus Colleges and departments. The DBMS/Copy site license enables you to install the product on individual computers.

The site license only applies to usage on UW-Madison computers. The site license extends to groups affiliated with the University, such as UW-Extension, who are also connected to the UW network. All other uses are in violation of the site license.

To run DBMS/Copy V8 a S/N is required and downloading is restricted to computers directly connected to the UW-Madison backbone. To get the S/N so you can run DBMS/Copy, send email to requesting access. Include your name, university ID, department, campus address, and phone #. You must use your employee email address and not a student address. If everything checks out, you will receive an email of the URL, login name, and S/N needed to download and run DBMS/Copy.

Here is the DBMSCOPY manual as a pdf file, and its Windows Help file. After installation these will also be in your c:\Program files\DataFlux\dfPower Tools\8.0 directory.
