This product provides secure encrypted exchanges of not only login ID and password information, but all the text exchanges via telnet as well. Secure CRT also has IP forwarding as an extension, which allows you to encrypt non-Telnet traffic such as FTP and any other port-based traffic. The product also includes all the capabilities of the regular CRT product for non-encrypted traffic. Encrypted communications now are possible with Unix and VMS hosts running the Secure Shell protocol (sshd).
