DVDs, also known as digital versatile disks, are high capacity storage disks. DVDs can hold as much information as 7 CD-ROMs depending on the standard.

- Single Side Double Layer (DVD 9) 8.54 Gbyte
- Double Side Single Layer (DVD 1O) 9.4 Gbyte
- Double Side Double Layer (DVD 18) 17.08 Gbyte
DVD-ROM is much more than just movies! DVDs can hold any type of data, however, DVDs cannot be read in a regular CD-ROM drive.
